The electrochemical polishing process is divided into two steps:
(1) the macroscopic leveling solution product diffuses to the electrolyte, the material surface geometry roughness drops,Ra>1 m.
(2) low light level leveling anode polarization, surface brightness increased,Ra<1 m.
